Grand Wailea Awarded 4 TripAdvisor Excellence Certificates

The Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa on Maui is the recipient of four Certificate of Excellence awards issued by TripAdvisor in 2013 for success in hospitality and consistency in top traveler reviews, visitor industry officials announced.

The awards were for: Grand Wailea accommodations; dining at the Humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa restaurant; the resort’s Spa Grande; and Grand Lūʻau at Honuaʻula.

“Winners of the Certificate of Excellence are located all over the world and represent the upper echelon of businesses listed on the website, with only the top 10% receiving the prestigious award,” according to a TripAdvisor press release.

The Certificate of Excellence program is an extension of the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards.

The award was highlighted by the Maui Visitors & Convention Bureau in a news bulletin issued this week.
