The Maui Police Department announced the planned blessing and dedication of the new Kīhei Police Station on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013.

The event comes exactly two years after the initial ground breaking for the station, which took place on December 5, 2011.

The new station, located at 2201 Piʻilani Highway, will accommodate Kīhei Patrol officers, the Recruit Training Academy, and other components of the Maui Police Department, said Lt. William Juan.
