Maalaea Bus Stop to be relocated

The Maui Bus will permanently relocate the Maalaea bus stop next week.  The bus stop is being moved from the front of the Maalaea Village shopping center to the makai side of the center near Maalaea Harbor.  The changes go into effect Wednesday, May 12, 2010.

County officials say the relocation is being made for logistical reasons at the request of the Maalaea Triangle Association board. The County Department of Transportation asks passengers to pardon any inconvenience. Signs are being posted on affected buses and at the current bus stop location.
