Traffic on the roadway was temporarily reduced to a single lane between the Pāʻia Municipal Parking Lot at the entrance of Pāʻia Town to the intersection of Baldwin Avenue.

Department officials advise motorists to follow traffic control measures in the area, and use alternate routes if possible.

In addition, customers will be without water for about five to eight hours on Ae and Nalu Place, as well as the Hāna Highway, between the Ae Place and Nalu Place intersections.
