Maui Crime Log: 6 Burglaries, 5 Vehicle Thefts, 13 Car Break-ins

Maui police say they responded to 6 burglaries, 5 vehicle thefts, and 13 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period, between Jan. 12 and 18, 2014. The complete list of locations affected and times in which the incidents occurred are as follows:

6 Maui Burglaries Reported Jan. 12 to 18, 2014:

Kīhei:

• Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, 11 a.m.:  South Kīhei Road at the Maui Banyan, unlawful entry.
• Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, 1:30 p.m.:  East Welakahao Road, unlawful entry.

Kula:

• Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, 1:22 a.m.:  Kahala Place, forced entry.

Lahaina:

• Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, 12 a.m.:  Kenui Street t the Front Street Apartments, forced entry.

Pukalani:

• Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, 4:37 p.m.:  ʻIkea Place, unlawful entry.

Waiehu:

• Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, 11 p.m.:  ʻAukai Street, unlawful entry.

5 Vehicle Thefts on Maui Jan. 12 to 18, 2014:

Kīhei:

• Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, 12:40 a.m.:  black and gray moped; East Welakahao Road at Hope Chapel. RECOVERED.
