2014 Great American Cleanup Seeks Volunteers

Site coordinators and volunteers are being sought for the 2014 Great American Cleanup that begins on March 1 and runs through June 30, 2014.

The campaign, organized by Keep the Hawaiian Islands Beautiful, is seeking organizations, businesses and individual volunteers who are passionate about the grassroots community improvement program.

The effort is aimed at ensuring communities stay clean, sustainable and beautiful.

As part of the four-month campaign, a special Earth Day event will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at locations to be determined.

Coordinating groups in Maui County include: Mālama Maui Nui, Keep Molokaʻi Beautiful’ Keep Kalaupapa Settlement Beautiful; Keep Lānaʻi Beautiful; and Keep Kahoʻolawe Beautiful.
