The Fall football game between the University of Hawaii and USC will go on as scheduled following a decision issued by the NCAA committee.

Initially the NCAA granted penalties against the Trojans football team which included a ban on the 13th game exception for teams traveling to Hawaii.

The committee agreed to postpone the ban until 2011. The USC, Hawaii game is set for September 2nd at Aloha Stadium. The two teams are scheduled to meet again in Los Angeles in 2012 and in Honolulu in 2013.

“I’m pleased that the NCAA understood the situation and has made this decision to allow this game to be played,” UH Athletics Director Jim Donovan said in a press release.
