County to Offer Volunteer Management Workshop

The Maui County Volunteer Center will host a free workshop and panel discussion entitled Volunteer Management 101, from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 23, at the Maui Economic Opportunity classroom 2 in Wailuku.

The event is co-hosted by Maui Economic Opportunity, Inc., and will be led by Joan Naguwa and Paul Belanger, experienced members of the Network of Volunteer Leaders group.

The workshop and panel discussion is designed for new to highly experienced volunteer leaders, offering participants the chance to network with other volunteer leaders in the community and learn useful tactics to successfully run their own volunteer programs.

Individuals interested in registering for the workshop, are asked to email Wendy Stebbins at [email protected] with the participant’s name, agency and phone number.

The deadline to RSVP is Monday, May 19, 2014.
