Missed Trash Route in Waiehu, Wailuku Country Estates

Residents in some areas of Waiehu in Central Maui did not have their trashed picked up as scheduled on Friday, May 9, due to a staffing shortage, county officials announced.
The County of Maui Department of Environmental Management, Solid Waste Division, announced that the missed collection affected the following areas: Waiehu Kou neighborhoods, Waiehu Terrace, and Wailuku Country Estates.

Department officials say they expect to have the missed routes picked up on Saturday, May 10, 2014.
The department apologized for the inconvenience and thanked the community for their understanding and cooperation.
