Hawaiian Airlines today announced that it will be expanding summer flights aboard its newest interisland operation, ‘Ohana by Hawaiian, by including the island of Maui in its network of routes.

The expanded service will include daily flights from Kahului on Maui to Molokaʻi, Kona, and Hilo, aboard the airline’s 48-seat ATR-42 turboprop planes operated by Empire Airlines.

The airline also announced the addition of a summer flight between Honolulu and Molokaʻi, bringing to four the number of flights offered per day between the two islands.

All flights are scheduled to launch on July 8, with the exception of the Kahului to Hilo route, which is scheduled to start on July 10.

“Since launching ʻOhana by Hawaiian earlier this year, we’ve received overwhelmingly positive response and robust demand for more service between the islands to connect our communities,” said Hadden Watt, ʻOhana by Hawaiian managing director in a company press release announcement.
