BRIEF: Trash Route Missed in Kīhei and Kula

The County of Maui Solid Waste Division announced a missed route affecting the Kīhei service areas on Monday, June 30, and the Kula area on Tuesday, July 1.

Both incidents were due to a staffing shortage.  Trash along the missed Kīhei route will be picked up today; and trash along the missed Kula route will be picked up on Wednesday, July 2.

Affected streets in Kīhei include: Ahaiki, Hale Kai, Hoalike, Huaka, Lauloa, Nānākai, Noe, Oe, Pā, Palanehe, Wainohia, and Wīkani.

Affected streets in Kula include: Kula Kai, Upper Kimo, Lower Kimo, Holopuni, Lower Kula Road, and all other surrounding streets.
