Some water customers on Dairy Road will have no service on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014, while contractors connect a new waterline for the Kahului Airport Access Road.

The work is scheduled to take place from 11 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11, to 6 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, 2014.

The waterline work will affect customers on Dairy Road from Alamaha Street to Puʻunēnē Avenue, Pākaula Street, ʻOhekani, Lehuakona, Ala Makani, Hoʻokele Street from Mokulele to Pākaula Street, Hawaiian Commercial and Sugar Company, and Puʻunēnē School.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution on Dairy Road during the project because construction personnel will be working intermittently on or near the roadway.

Affected customers are advised to store water for the night if needed and flush their waterlines for a short time on Friday morning to ensure that no sediment has accumulated during the project.
