Maui police responded to 35 burglaries, 13 vehicle thefts, and 13 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period, between Sept. 21 to 27, 2014.

Of the 13 vehicle thefts, 6 vehicles have since been recovered.  The greatest number of incidents was in Lahaina, Kīhei, and Wailuku with three incidents were reported at each location.

Burglary incidents jumped to 35 with the greatest number of burglaries reported in Kahului where 12 incidents occurred over seven days.

Vehicle break-ins dropped off to 13 for the week.  The greatest number was in Wailuku where five incidents occurred.
