Maui Police say the an investigation revealed that the suspect or suspects rammed, then pulled out the ATM containing an undisclosed amount of cash, from the south wall of the main entrance.

According to police reports, pieces from the passenger side tail light were left at the scene, which possibly identify the made and model of the truck as a Nissan Frontier.

Prior to the incident, police say a black 2004 Nissan Frontier pickup truck (with license plate LBE-251)  was stolen from the Waiheʻe area; however police say it is not confirmed that the stolen truck was used in connection with the stolen ATM.
