Public Help Sought in Identifying Suspects in Alleged Wailea Theft

Maui Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying three male suspects wanted for questioning in the theft of items from a Wailea business.

Police say $600 worth of merchandise was taken from the store during the incident reported at 3:53 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 8, 2014.

According to police reports, the suspects allegedly worked in concert to distract the lone sales person within.  Police say one of the suspects allegedly removed an item without paying, and all three fled on foot.

Police obtained video surveillance footage from the incident and released photos of the individuals wanted for questioning.

The suspect descriptions are as follows:

  • Suspect 1: has short hair with a thin beard along his jaw line, stands about 5-feet 10-inches tall, with a heavy build, and tattoos down his right arm.
  • Suspect 2: has a bald head with a thick beard, stands about 5-feet 10-inches tall, with a thick build.
  • Suspect 3: has a crew-cut hair style, is clean shaven, with a medium build, stands about five-feet 8-inches tall, and has tattoos on his left arm.
