WAILUKU, MAUI, Hawai‘i – The County of Maui Department of Water Supply asks all water consumers on the islands of Maui and Moloka’i to conserve water until further notice.

Due to power failures caused by the current windstorm, approximately 50 percent of the water system pumping capacity is off line throughout the islands of Maui and Moloka’i. The Department requests that all consumers–residents and businesses– please conserve water and avoid any unnecessary water use until further notice.

The Department thanks customers for their cooperation and understanding. Please call the 24-hour hotline at 270-7633 if a water-related problem occurs or if there are any questions.
