In 2010, MEO and Atlas Insurance began a relationship while MEO was looking for a new insurance brokerage.

Since then, Atlas Insurance and its leadership team–President Myles Murakami and Vice President Carol Davis–have also become supporters and advocates for MEO and its clients.

Murakami offered assistance when MEO CEO Lyn McNeff shared that Head Start budget cuts would affect 20 children and families.

He proposed making a donation to MEO from funds raised at the Hotel Industry’s Annual Charity Walk. This donation provided a two-for-one return on investment.

Additionally, Atlas stepped up to sponsor MEO’s annual Driver of the Year award, providing a plaque and a monetary award to one outstanding driver each year.

“During this year, Atlas has offered $14,700.00 in financial support, but more importantly, they have taken a genuine interest in MEO, its employees and clients,” said McNeff during the award presentation. “Relationships such as these allow MEO to do what it does best–help people and change lives.”
