Maui Police Seek Help in Recovering Stolen Navy Items

Maui police are seeking the public’s help in recovering stolen US Navy items that were taken from an unattended parked vehicle in South Maui over the weekend.  Police say unknown suspects stole the items on Sunday, March 15, 2015, from within a vehicle that was parked at a Kīhei beach.

Among the items taken were several wallets containing cash and identification, miscellaneous electronic equipment and spare scuba parts.

Anyone with information on the suspects or stolen items, is asked to contact the Maui Police Department non-emergency number at (808) 244-6400 or call Detective Myrna Sabas-Ryder at (808) 875-5412.

Items taken include: Auxiliary Breathing System Bottle K Valve; Center Section Assembly; Inconel Bottle Valve; Lithium Primary Battery; OTS Through Water Communications Diver Transceiver; Primary Electronic Assembly; Primary Electronics Assembly Circuit Board (PWB Gain Adjust); Secondary Display Assembly; and a Single Sideband Acoustic Transceiver.
