Tickets for Maui Nō Ka ‘Oi’s ‘Aipono Awards Gala on Sale Now

Winners of Maui Nō Ka ‘Oi Magazine’s restaurant contest will be announced and celebrated at the 13th annual ‘Aipono Awards Gala on Sunday, April 26.

In December 2014, Maui Nō Ka ‘Oi Magazine readers cast their votes for their favorite Maui restaurants in nearly three-dozen categories. The awards gala celebrates Maui’s culinary industry and is a benefit for the students of UH Maui College’s Culinary Academy.

On April 26, the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa’s Ocean Lawn will transport attendees to the Casbah for a celebration with a Mediterranean-North African theme. (Attendees are welcome to wear costumes.)

The event will begin with a 5:30 p.m. reception under the stars featuring the Chambers & Chambers Wine Experience and innovative pūpū by Maui Culinary Academy chef/instructors.

At 7 p.m., the gala will move inside a festive tent for the awards ceremony and a three-course feast prepared by the chefs of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Maui–Westin Maui Resort & Spa Executive Sous Chef Ikaika Manaku, Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa Executive Chef Greg Gaspar and Westin Kā‘anapali Ocean Resort Villas Executive Chef Francois Milliet, .

The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa’s Black Rock Lounge will hosts an After Party beginning at 9 p.m.

The ‘Aipono Awards Gala is a benefit for Maui Culinary Academy. Since its launch in 2003, the gala have generated more than $250,000 for the school and student scholarships. Students also enjoy the invaluable experience of working alongside sponsor restaurant chefs at the event as they help prepare dinner.

Tickets to this perennial sell-out event are on sale now: $205 for individuals, $2,100 for tables of 10 and $3,000 for sponsor tables of 10. Purchase tickets online or call (808) 242-8331 during business hours.
