Marcus Mariota to be Featured in First Hawaiian Bank Branding

Hawaiʻi-born athlete, Marcus Mariota has entered into a partnership with First Hawaiian Bank, agreeing to be featured in the company’s branding campaign.

The bank announced that their, “It All Starts with Yes” campaign, will prominently feature Mariota, encouraging people to be courageous, take on their dreams, and persevere through life’s challenges.

Bank representatives say the partnership with Mariota uses real customers as inspirational success stories.

The 2014 Heisman award winner and graduate of St. Louis School was also the number two overall pick by the Tennessee Titans in the 2015 NFL draft Thursday night.  Mariota was also the starting quarterback for the University of Oregon Ducks from 2012 to 2014.

Bob Harrison, First Hawaiian Bank chairman, president and CEO said FHB is the first Hawaiʻi company to sign Mariota.

“Marcus Mariota is a gifted athlete and is someone who embodies the same core values of integrity, teamwork and community service that are part of our First Hawaiian Bank culture,” said Harrison in a press release statement. “He’s a terrific role model and his pursuit of his dream of playing professional football is inspirational for us all. He is a wonderful example of what the power of Yes can do in transforming lives.”

In the announcement Mariota said he wanted to “help inspire others to dream big and strive for greatness.”
