Hawaiian Expands Summer Service Between LA and Maui

Hawaiian Airlines expands non­stop service between Maui and Los Angeles for the summer with the addition of a second daily flight.

The additional flight commences today (July 11), and will operate for 14 weeks, continuing through Sept. 8, 2015.

The route will add more than 53,000 air seats to both Los Angeles and Maui travel markets over 14 weeks and will utilize the airlines wide-body Airbus 330-200 aircraft.

A second daily flight leaving Kahului at 9:40 p.m. and arriving in Los Angeles at 5:50 a.m. will begin June 11. A second westbound flight each day, departing LA at 1:30 p.m. and arriving in Kahului at 4 p.m., will begin June 12.

Also in response to summer demand, Hawaiian is bringing back its seasonal non-stop service from Oakland and Los Angeles to Līhuʻe on Kauaʻi and Kona on Hawaiʻi Island, beginning today, May 20, 2015.

With the additions, both Līhuʻe and Kona will have a Hawaiian Airlines wide-body aircraft arriving every day of the week this summer.
