Kanahā Bike Rides Planned on Aug. 22
Kahului  Kanahā Beach Park • 10 a.m.
The ride on Aug. 22 is the Maui Bicycling League’s first monthly ride. The group plans to host a ride each month based on feedback it receives from participants. The rides will start at 10 a.m. at the gate at the end of Amala Place near the last entrance to Kanahā Beach Park in Kahului.  (Parking and restrooms are located at Kanahā Beach Park).

TriLanai city runTriLāna‘i City Run
Lāna‘i City • Lāna‘i City 
The 5th Annual TriLāna‘i City Run kicks off the fall season on Aug. 22. This popular community event offers runners and walkers of all ages a virtually traffic-free course through historic Lāna‘i City. Participants can choose the 21k, 10k and 5k courses, as well as a Keiki Run around the perimeter of Dole Park. Register by Aug. 22. The fee is $50 for participants age 20 and older, $30 for participants under 20 and $20 for the Keiki Run.

The Market Maui by Capische? will host a five-course sampling of locally sourced farm-to-table island delicacies aboard Kai Kanani’s Sunset Cruise on Saturday, Aug. 22.

Arc of Maui County will hold its first annual fundraiser at Flatbread Co. in Pā‘ia, on Aug. 25, from 4 to 10 p.m. A percentage of food sales and all proceeds from the silent auction will pay for new recreational and educational equipment for the adult day programs.
