“We want to support local musicians and provide authentic, safe and comfortable family entertainment for our Maui community,” said Executive Director Sissy Lake-Farm. “Uncle George provides great support and encouragement to up-and-coming local musicians, especially those at the college.”

Kahumoku and local musicians Ed Gazbat, Tom Pollard, Eric Dotterer and Joel Katz, will perform along with students from the UH Maui College Institute of Hawaiian Music.

Moonlight Mele with George Kahumoku and Friends is a monthly outdoor concert series at the Bailey House Museum, sponsored by the Maui Historical Society and the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority. The series aims to be a vehicle to promote Hawaiian cultural practices and reinvigorate community ownership of Wailuku Town.
