Fustini’s to Hold Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Party

Fustini’s Oils & Vinegars will host a Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Party—a free customer appreciation event—on Wednesday, Oct. 7, from  5 to 7 p.m. at its retail shop at The Shops at Wailea.

The appreciation event is for volunteers and committees who assisted with the Hope Fest event in mid-September; Fustini’s Oils & Vinegars is opening this event to the public because October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Partnering with Fustini’s are The American Cancer Society, Olavine Spa, Cupcake Ladies Catering Co., Rodan + Fields Dermatologists and Maui Pie.

Information from the American Cancer Society and Rodan + Fields Dermatologists will be available and on display, along with the newest top-selling skincare line with product demonstrations and giveaways.

“While protecting against skin cancer is a major focus of our product line, several dear friends are currently dealing with breast cancer, so I’m excited to a part of any event that supports research for a cure,” said Terri Marino, executive consultant with Rodan + Fields.

Fustini’s will provide tastings, healthy food and beverages, and special treats will be provided by the Cupcake Ladies and Maui Pie. Fustini’s special is a free gift with purchase, and Olavine Spa in Wailea will offer Gold Shimmer Hand Massages for the ladies and Organic Coconut for the gentlemen.

“Altogether, it promises to be an especially informative, fun evening and a nice way to pamper yourself before the holidays,” Fustini’s Store Manager Jill Sullivan said. “What a great way to support the American Cancer’s Society efforts in raising awareness and finding a cure for cancer. We are a community supporting many villages. This is a great opportunity to host other businesses and organizations in our store coming together to support a great cause. We all know someone in our lives who cancer has touched.”

“We are looking forward to benefiting such a wonderful cause that has affected so many lives, with this amazing group of local businesses,” said Kellee Houghtaling, owner of the Maui Pie.
