North: Wave heights are expected chest high to overhead today. The best breaks could get sets well overhead by sunset.

West:  Wave heights waist/chest high are expected today. Spots shadowed by other islands will be smaller. Northerly exposures get up to waist/chest/shoulder high.

South: The south-southwest is expected to bring waist/chest high waves today. Head high or more on the sets late in the day.

Screen Shot 2015-10-15 at 8.11.42 PMOur current northwest swell is expected to fade out as new north-northwest fills in late in the day. The new swell is forecast to peak Saturday and fade through the rest of the weekend.

Nora is forecast to continue fading out.

A new south-southwest swell is expected to fill in Friday, peak Saturday and begin to fade Sunday.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
