Duke’s Beach House in Kā‘anapali recently named Jason Wilhite as the winner and Krizhna Bayudan as the Facebook Fan Favorite in the restaurants fourth Annual Adult Holiday T-Shirt Design Contest. Natalya Rodarte of King Kamehameha III Elementary School was selected as the winner of the Keiki Holiday T-Shirt Design Contest.

Wilhite received $300, and his design was incorporated into a limited-edition holiday adult T-shirt. As the Facebook Fan Favorite, Bayudan received $150. Rodarte was awarded a $100 restaurant voucher and $500 for her school. School Principal Steve Franz accepted the check on behalf of the school.

“We are thrilled to be able to incorporate the community into our holiday celebration,” said Noah Yamada, Duke’s general manager. “The T-shirt design contests continue to grow each year and we are happy to showcase and celebrate these great local artists.”

The holiday T-shirts are for sale at Duke’s logo wear counter. The adult shirt is $29.50 and is available in both men’s and women’s sizes. The keiki holiday shirt is $22.50.

Honorable mention keiki winners each received $25 vouchers for the restaurant: Mia Merill of King Kamehameha III Elementary School; Kaylyn Rayray, Neveah Sunio and Chelsea Ramos of Princess Nahi‘ena‘ena Elementary School; Gretchen Olson of Lahaina Intermediate School; Karisa Bauydan of Sacred Hearts School; Mina Suzuki and Ramsey Hillen of Pomaika‘i Elementary School; and Moseley Morrison of California Middle School.
