Maui police responded to 20 burglaries, 10 vehicle thefts, and 13 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period, between Jan. 17 to 23, 2016.

Of the 10 vehicle thefts, two of the vehicles have since been recovered.  The incidents were reported in Kīhei, Wailuku, Kahului, Lahaina, Pāʻia, Māʻalaea and Makawao.

Burglary incidents were up to 20 from the 15 incidents reported the week before. The greatest number of burglaries reported were in Kīhei and Wailuku where four incidents were reported at each location over seven days.

Vehicle break-ins were down significantly to 13, from 29 incidents reported the week before.  The greatest number was in Kahului with four incidents reported at the location.
