The Banyan Tree Restaurant Hosts New Events

The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua has unveiled a line-up of events at its signature restaurant, The Banyan Tree. From tastings hosted by master sommeliers to fundraising events and monthly winemaker dinners, visitors and the local community alike will find something to please every palette.

Upcoming special events include:

• Friday, March 11 – An Evening of Sake and Oysters benefiting Pacific Cancer Foundation
  Enjoy an evening of live music by Andrew Molina, sake and oyster pairings, plus a raffle with prizes like dinner for two at The Banyan Tree. Part of the proceeds benefit the Pacific Cancer Foundation. Includes three sake selections, oysters and other select pupus. The event runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and costs $40 per person (excluding tax and gratuity).  Space is limited, so call (808) 665-7089 for reservations.  Must be 21 years or older.
• Friday, March 18 – Family Winemakers of California Dinner with Sommelier Charles Fredy
  Enjoy a five-course menu paired with fine California wines. This special event will be hosted by sommelier Charles Fredy and Chef Jonathan Haynes. There’s a 6 p.m. reception, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.  It costs $125 per person (excluding tax and gratuity).  Seating is limited. For reservations, please call (808) 665-7089. • Wine Wednesdays – every Wednesday from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.

• March 1–April 1, 2016: Sunset Dinner Menu – Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
