Maui Photographer Lands Cover of World Wedding Publication

Maui wedding and fashion photographer Chris J. Evans just landed his work on the cover of the world renowned wedding publication Grace Ormonde Wedding Style for the March/April digital issue.

The shoot was a collaboration of some of Maui’s top wedding vendors including Chris J. Evans Photography, Unveiled Hawaiʻi, Meili Autumn Beauty, Nomad Visual Productions, Cake Fanatics, Damselfly Florals and Maui Roadsters. The theme was elegance in Hawaiʻi.

Model Rose Renee wore a gown from PMN dream dresses. Shot on location at the iconic Old Maui High School on Maui’s North Shore, the crew visualized a “concept wedding” blooming with deep burgundy, gold and a candy apple red vintage Porsche courtesy of Maui Roadsters.

Chris J. Evans has lived on Maui since 2010 and began shooting weddings in 2011. In just five years he has shot over 200 weddings, has been featured on TLC, Brides Magazine, Style me Pretty, The Knot, Wedding Wire, Pacific Weddings and more.

His fashion background and use of studio lighting has propelled him to the top of the Maui wedding industry. He consistently works with the world famous Haʻikū Mill as one of their elite preferred vendors and has photographed celebrity weddings at Shep Gordon’s Wailea Estate. In 2016 he shot covers and campaigns for Flower Magazine, Grace Ormonde, Target, and international sports brand Dakine.
