Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are expected about chest/head high. At the best breaks we could see possible overhead sets.
West: Ankle/knee high surf is expected. Breaks catching the wrap could get up to chest high or more on the sets.
South: Surf is pretty flat today.
Models are showing our current northwest swell holding steady through Thursday and Friday as it shifts more north-northwest. A larger, longer period northwest swell is expected around April 9th.
Not much expected out of the SPAC anytime soon. Minimal southerly swell is expected to trickle in over the next few days.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
