A Small Craft Advisory is in effect through 6 a.m. Thursday for all Maui County waters.
A Wind Advisory is posted through 6 a.m. Thursday for the islands of Lāna’i and Kaho’olawe as well as the west side of Maui for northeast winds from 25 to 35 mph, gusting to 50 mph.

Looking Ahead
Trade winds overrunning a stationary front near the Big Island will continue to bring moisture towards the state over the next several days. Clouds and showers are expected to focus along windward slopes. Trade winds should weaken to moderate levels Friday through the weekend, then strengthen again early next week.

Today we expect mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and isolated leeward showers. East winds are expected from 15 to 30 mph, gusting to 40 mph. High temperatures from 79° to 84°.
