South: Surf is around knee/waist high today. The best breaks could be a bit bigger from time to time.

Screen Shot 2016-07-29 at 7.10.18 PMOur current southerly pulse fades out through the weekend. A small southwest swell will fill in bringing just knee to waist high waves to the best exposures. We may see better swells stacking up for the second week of August out of the South Pacific.

Trade swell will fluctuate a bit over the next couple of days. Nothing major expected out of the North or East Pacific through the first week of August.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
