SSW Swells Bring Surf to South & West Exposures

Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are expected to be knee/chest high today.
West: Surf is waist/shoulder high today as south-southwest swell continues to build.
South: Surf is waist/shoulder high today as south-southwest swell continues to fill in.
Trade swell is affecting northeastern exposures. Second half of the week surf goes quiet.
Our current south-southwest swell is bringing waist/chest high surf along the Kona coast. A reinforcement is expected to fill in Thursday bringing chest/shoulder high waves, possibly up to head high on the sets. Swell fading for the second half of the work week and into the weekend, but still rideable.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
