Hospice Maui and Kaunoa Senior Services invites the community to a screening and discussion of the PBS Frontline documentary “Being Mortal.”

Based on the best- selling book by Dr. Atul Gawande, this film explores the hopes of patient and families facing life-limiting illness and their relationships with the doctors, nurses and family members.

Hospice Maui invites the public to see the film and be part of a national conversation that brings medical professionals and community members together around the shared responsibility of discussing what matters most to patients and families facing difficult treatment decisions.
