Maui Surf Forecast
North: Surf is head high to overhead today in the morning. By afternoon double to triple overhead surf is expected. Big wave, deep water reef breaks will get up to 18 to 25 foot faces.
West: Surf is ankle/knee high today. Spots catching some of the west-northwest wrap will be bigger.
South: Surf is ankle/knee high today. The best spots catching the wrap could get bigger.
An XL west-northwest swell is forecast to build quickly Tuesday, peak late Tuesday and early Wednesday and fade after that. Another storm is forecast to generate swell for the weekend of the 28th. Will keep an eye on it.
Nothing significant is expected out of the South Pacific for the foreseeable future.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
