$100K Awarded to St. Anthony to Revitalize Classrooms, Science Labs
St. Anthony Junior-Senior High School is the recipient of a $100,000 grant from the Atherton Family Foundation that will be used to revitalize the high school’s classrooms and science labs.
The grant will be used to purchase state-of-the-art interactive projectors, classroom air conditioners and brand new desks and chairs for teachers and students in 9th through 12th grade.
The school completed another refurbishing project in the summer of 2016, and that led to the first-time opening of St. Anthony’s Middle School for 6th through 8th grades.
The high school refresh project follows on the success of the November grand opening of the new St. Anthony School Communication and Media Lab on campus.
School administrators say the CAM Lab promises to elevate student skills in digital TV Production, Film making, Documentaries, Story-telling and Writing, News & Sports reporting, journalism, acting, and other types of social media.
