“We are so grateful to live in this astonishing place,” said M. Barrett, who bought the home. “The experience of working with Ms. Brown has been a privilege and a gift.”
The 5,400-square-foot home is surrounded by tropical gardens, with panoramic ocean views visible from every room in the house. The interior of the home is adorned with fine detailing including warm-colored woods and natural stone. The house also features expansive 10-foot high sliding glass doors that open to a lush interior courtyard.
The master suite boasts sweeping ocean views of south Maui with a massive bath and private courtyard with an exotic outdoor shower. There is also a climate-controlled, 800-plus bottle wine room that complements the exquisite gourmet kitchen.
Outside, lanai’s surround the estate, leading to a tiled pool, spa and cabana. An outdoor kitchen is equipped with an over-sized BBQ, under-counter refrigerator, sink and half bath.
From the pool area, stroll onto one of the finest black-sand beaches in South Maui, where guests can enjoy stand-up paddle boarding, snorkeling or a walk down the beach at sunset.
“It has been a dream for my husband and I to own a property in Maui,” said Barrett. “Courtney Brown found this magical home for us. Her vision, calm authority and intelligence made this a seamless process.”
