North: Surf heights are expected to be head high today with the best breaks getting a few feet overhead. Some spots could get up to double overhead.
West: Surf is knee/waist high today along most westerly exposures with tummy/chest high sets. Spots catching the west-northwest will be bigger.
South: Surf is knee/waist high today along most westerly exposures with tummy/chest high sets.
Old west-northwest swell gets a boost from northwest reinforcement today and Thursday but fading thereafter. A solid west-northwest is expected for the end of the week, building Friday morning, peaking later that day and slowly easing through the weekend. Pe’ahi could break on this swell.
Modest south-southwest swell continues Wednesday with a new south-southwest filling in Thursday.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
