Maui Lane Closures on Hāna Hwy and Waiehu Beach Rd

The state department of transportation will be conducting roadwork in two areas along the Hāna Highway this week that will result in alternating lane closures.

One project involves cold plane and resurfacing work in Pāʻia between the Pāʻia Mini-Bypass and Ulupua Place. Work hours for that project are between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The other project involves road maintenance on the Hāna Highway between Mile Markers 14 and 15 in Haʻikū. The work will result in alternating lane closures in both directions between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.

The state Department of Transportation will also be conducting road restriping work in Wailuku on Waiehu Beach Road.

The Waiehu project will result in an alternating lane closure on Waiehu Beach Road in both directions between the Kahekili Highway and Makaʻala Drive today and tomorrow (Monday, July 17 and 18, 2017) from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Work on all projects is weather permitting and is subject to change without further notice.
