Henry Higgins Kaililaau Jr.
November 3, 1943 – August 26, 2017
Henry Higgins Kaililaau Jr., 73, of Kahului, passed away on Aug. 26, 2017, with his family by his side. He was born in Ke‘anae, Maui.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, at Waiola Church, 535 Wainee Street Lahaina; service will begin at 11 a.m.; cremation will follow.
Henry was an Agricultural Inspector for the USDA at Kahului Airport.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Dapitan Kaililaau; son, Patrick (Geraldine) Cockett; daughters, Lehuanani (Daniel) Cockett, RoseAnne (Edgar) Cockett-Fontanilla; siblings, Wendell Kaililaau, Greg (Tammy) Kaililaau, Gerrie Caseres, Roseagnes (Toni and Makana) Kaililaau; seven grandchildren, Bryson, Aukai, Justin, Anoai, Tabitha, Cydnee-Jayne, Aulialani; and three great grandchildren, Kamahao, Haaheo, and Bruno; as well as his nieces and nephews here on Maui and abroad.
Helio Kahili Kealohanui Sr.
July 31, 1925 – August 23, 2017
Helio Kahili Kealohanui Sr. 92, of Kahului, Maui, passed away on Aug. 23, 2017 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on July 31, 1925 in Hāna, Maui.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday Sept. 8, 2017 at Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului. Service will begin at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at 12:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park.
Mr. Kealohanui worked in the Vector Control Department for the State of Hawai‘i Department of Health.
He is survived by his wife Cyrilla Kealohanui; sons, Helio Kealohanui Jr., John Kealohanui, Timothy Kealohanui, and Helio (Jodie) Kealohanui III ; daughter, Kalai Kealohanui (Travis C.); grandson Williama (Trisha) Kealohanui Sr.; great-grandchildren, Hulali, Kaitlin, Robert, Aizek, Helio IV, Lovely, Williama Jr, Briana, Amberlynn and Cyena. Along with many loving nieces and nephews.
Milton Damien Kawaiaea
December 3, 1935 – August 23, 2017
Milton Damien Kawaiaea, 81 of Hāna Maui, passed away on Aug. 23, 2017 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on Dec. 3, 1935 in Hāna, Maui.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday Sept. 14, 2017 at Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului. Service will begin at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 from 8 to 11 a.m. at Wananalua Congregational Church in Hāna. Service will be at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Wananalua Congregational Church Cemetery.
Milton worked as a mechanic at the Hotel Hāna Maui.
He is predeceased by his wife, Audrey Ruby Dudoit Kawaiaea, and survived by his sons, Milton (Wallette) Kawaiaea Jr. and Henry (Leinaala) Kawaiaea; daughters, Bethlen “Lani” Kawaiaea, Drucilla “Lei” (Eddie) Pagdilao, and Jill Kawaiaea; brothers, John K. (Pearl- deceased) Kawaiaea, Daniel K. (Loretta) Kawaiaea; sister, Minuet (Charles-deceased) Ratledge; grandchildren, Daryl, Derek, Daphne(deceased), Joshua, Preston, Edwina, Ruby, Justin, Abcde, Wailena, Judah, and Aolani; great grandchildren, Dylan, Lilinoe, Ariana, Dalton, Kumaka, Sanoe, Kamuela, Kapena, Kaimi, Kawaiola, Kealoha, Trevor, Ezekiel, Annelisse, Hezekiah, Keirralyn, Jaeda, Leinaala and Marianne. Milton was also predeceased by his siblings, Jenny, Aina, Abel, Oliver, and Wilfred.
Olivia Pacheco
July 4, 1925 – August 15, 2017
Olivia Pacheco, 92, of Makawao, passed away on Aug. 15, 2017 at Hale Makua in Wailuku. She was born on July 4, 1925 in Makawao.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, at Ballard Family Mortuary, prayer service will begin at noon, and burial will be at 1 p.m. at the Maui Veteran’s Cemetery.
Olivia is survived by her daughter, Cookie Pacheco; sister, Flora Rollins, and brother, Daniel Rollins.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Anthony and Benjamin Rollins; and sister, Ludy Abrew.
Francis DeLeon Agdinaoay
August 24, 1975 – August 11, 2017
Francis DeLeon Agdinaoay, passed away on Aug. 11, 2017 at Kaiser Moanalua Foundation Hospital in Honolulu. He was born on Aug. 24, 1975 in Burgos, Ilocos Sur, Philippines to Francisca DeLeon Agdinaoay and Irineo Acuna Agdinaoay.
Francis came to Hawai‘i on Jan. 31, 1977 with his mother to live in Maui. He was raised in Waiehu all his life with his sister, Irene, cousins and close friends. He attended Baldwin High School and in 1992, met his companion, Frajolyn (Julie) Paludipan at the Maui High School’s Junior Prom.
In 2010 Julie and Francis welcomed their son Nico Pedro Paludipan Agdinaoay.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 1, 2017 at St. Anthony Church in Wailuku, service will begin at 8:30 p.m.
Visitation will continue at the church on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017 at 9:30 a.m., service 11 a.m., and burial at Maui Memorial Park at 12:30 p.m.
Francis is survived by his companion, Frajolyn Paludipan; son, Nicolas; parents, Irineo & Francisca Agdinaoay; sister, Irene (Clifftin) Kamei; and nephew, Kainalu Kamei.

Wai Lin Weiler
November 16, 1949 – August 27, 2017
Wai Lin (Salina) Weiler, 67, of Kailua-Kona, and born in Hong Kong passed away on Aug. 27, 2017. She lived many years in Sydney Australia and San Francisco.
She is survived by spouse Peter; brother Richard Wong and Bing Cheund Wong of Hong Kong; and sister Cindy Chung of Sydney, Australia.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Raymond Rayner Hali‘imaile Kinney
April 26, 1929 – August 15, 2017
Raymond Rayner Hali‘imaile Kinney, 88 of Kailua-Kona, was born in Honolulu and passed away on Aug. 15, 2017. He worked as a General Manager in hospitality.
He is survived by son Rayner Kinney Jr. of Hilo; daughters Leimana (Robert) DaMate of Kau; Rhana Aulike (Peter) Matsuoka of Holualoa; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held.
