On The Menu at Maui Thai Bistro
Maui Thai Bistro’s bar, known as The Brasserie, will soon be serving up some surprises on a revamped cocktail menu. Some longtime favorites will stick around, but the rest remains under wraps until the list is out in a few months. Though bar manager Cody Wymer at least divulged two ingredients you’ll see on this new menu!
“Lilikoi, and lemongrass,” he shared with me.
Maui Thai Bistro is respected for its creative, contemporary fusion-style Thai cuisine for lunch and dinner. Generous happy hours run from 4 to 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. to close, and along with solid deals on appetizers, will include discounts on its signature specialty drinks across the board.
“They’re going to kind of vary,” explains Wymer, “but it’s going to be $2 to $4 off all the cocktails.”
The lunch specials are also seeing some changes. Available daily from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., there are five different options, which range from $9 to $13.
“We feature our Kao Soy, which you can only get at lunch, even though many people request it at dinnertime, ” says manager Shannon Togher. “We have a curry bowl of the day, with curry, salad and rice, all starting at $9.”
Dinner runs between 4 p.m. and around 9:15 p.m. Maui Thai Bistro, which is located toward the back of Rainbow Mall in Kīhei, is also available for private parties. Get more details on the restaurant and bar in our On the Menu video above with Kiaora Bohlool.
