Missed Trash Routes in West and Upcountry Maui

The entire Lahaina trash route was missed today because of a combination of staff shortages and equipment mechanical problems.
The County of Maui also reported missed routes in Pukalani and Makawao. This includes: Makani Road, Maui Pine Subdivision (Keohana Place, Iini Way, Olino Way), Kapuahi Street, Apana Road and all side streets, and Maui Uplands (Kaupea Street, Kaiaulu Place, Hoene Street, Ulana Street, and all side streets).
Crews with the Solid Waste Division plan to pick up trash on the missed routes tomorrow, March 22, 2011.
