Swell Summary
Outlook through Sunday August 05: An uptick of trade winds is expected bring an increase in wind swell Tuesday through Thursday along east facing shores. Small southeast and south swells will maintain small background surf along south facing shores through next week. Otherwise, no significant swells are expected.
Surf heights are forecast heights of the face, or front, of waves. The surf forecast is based on the significant wave height, the average height of the one third largest waves, at the locations of the largest breakers. Some waves may be more than twice as high as the significant wave height. Expect to encounter rip currents in or near any surf zone.
North

Surf: Ankle to knee high NNE short period wind swell.
Conditions: Sideshore texture/chop with E winds 10-15mph in the morning increasing to 20-25mph in the afternoon.
South

Surf: Ankle to knee high S medium period swell for the morning going more SW during the day.
Conditions: Semi glassy/semi bumpy with NW winds less than 5mph in the morning shifting WSW 5-10mph in the afternoon.
West

Surf: Minimal (ankle high or less) surf.
Conditions: Clean with ENE winds 10-15mph in the morning shifting E 15-20mph in the afternoon.
