The General Contractors Association of Hawaii (GCA) has endorsed Gov. David Ige and Dr. Josh Green for the 2018 General Election.

“We are focused on ensuring that Hawai‘i has a healthy construction industry, while improving the quality of construction and protecting the publicʻs interest,” said Lance Wilhelm, chair of the GCA Legislative Committee and member of the GCA Board of Directors. “GCA believes that Gov. Ige and Dr. Josh Green understand the broader issues challenging our state and the issues specific to our growth and well-being.”

The GCA organization has over 500 general contractors, subcontractors, and construction related firms.

“Dr. Josh Green and myself are sincerely grateful for this endorsement and appreciate its hardworking men and women,” said Gov. David Ige. “While our state continues to experience a strong economy, much of it is due to the vital role of our construction industry. We look forward to working with the GCA to ensure its members have the employment opportunities and good paying jobs they deserve
