QKC Cares: Breakfast With Santa, Angel Tree, Toy Drive and More
The community has the opportunity donate to various non-profit organizations this holiday season through the Queen Ka’ahumanu Center’s QKC Cares initiative, happening now through Dec. 22, 2018.
QKC welcomes back the Salvation Army Angel Tree now through Dec. 15, between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., excluding Sundays. This program provides new clothing and toys for children of families in need. Once a child has been registered as an “angel,” The Salvation Army makes a promise to provide Christmas for that child. The community can stop by, pick an Angel, purchase their wish gifts and conveniently donate right to their booth.
QKC, Pacific Media Group and Maui United Way come together again to present the Maui County Holiday Toy Drive, now through Dec. 16. Drop your unwrapped gift for keiki 0-18 years of age at the QKC Toy Drive Bin at Guest Services during center hours or the Pacific Media Group office at 311 Ano Street (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Toys specifically for ages 5 – 10 years are highly encouraged, however all toys are welcome. With every unwrapped gift valued at $5 or more, receive an entry for a chance-to-win a four-night Las Vegas Package.
