Maui Electric to Hold Auction for Retired Vehicles

Maui Electric’s Fleet Department will hold a silent auction for its retired vehicles on Tuesday, Dec. 4 and Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., on the front lawn of Maui Electric’s Kahului parking lot located at 210 W. Kamehameha Avenue and Wakea Avenue. More information on the retired vehicles, the bid form, and guidelines for the auction can be viewed at www.mauielectric.com/retiredvehicles.

During the auction, thirteen vehicles will be on display with a security guard stationed at the site to assist customers. A signed bid form can be submitted via email to austin.cho@mauielectric.com, the locked bid box at the sale site, or fax to (808) 871-2331 by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5.

Bidders may submit more than one bid per vehicle. Current highest bids will be updated throughout the auction days on a status board at the site. Highest bidders will be notified on Thursday, December 6 with payment due by noon on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018.

All vehicles will be sold “as is” and vehicles may be inspected but not driven. There are no expressed or implied warranties and vehicle maintenance records will not be provided. There are no upset prices on vehicles.
