QKC Hosts 3rd Annual Noon Year’s Eve Celebration
Queen Ka’ahumanu Center announces the 3rd Annual Noon Year’s Eve Celebration and Countdown on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Back by popular demand, QKC will celebrate the New Year with a mid-day array of family festivities including a giant balloon drop. Free keiki crafts, face painting and balloon making, along with Noon Year’s Eve hats, tiara’s and horns for the first 200 guests.
The countdown to a mega balloon drop will begin just before noon. DJ Roy will be spinning festive family tunes and giving away great door prizes valued from $5-100. Featured will be the annual QKC Resolution Wall where the public is invited to add their 2019 individual and family resolutions.
“Once again, we bring our community together to celebrate 2018 and ring in 2019 with a bang!”, says Toni Rojas, Vice President of Business & Community Development. “We know our community families get together in the evening, so we thought we would invite everyone to celebrate with us during the day. It’s our way of extending our mahalo for supporting us throughout the year,” said Rojas.
