Bank of Hawai‘i Announces New Vice Presidents on Maui

Bank of Hawaiʻi today announced two new vice presidents on Maui: Chuck Dando and Jacob Simons.

Chuck Dando recently joined Bank of Hawaiʻi as vice president and market manager of the West Maui Market.

In his capacity, he leads management teams of branches in Kīhei, Lahaina, Kahana, Molokaʻi and Lānaʻi in striving to achieve excellent customer service and building lifelong banking relationships with clients and their family and friends. He has 21 years of experience in the financial services industry, previously holding managerial positions with American Savings Bank and Wells Fargo Financial.

Dando earned his bachelor in business administration degree from the University of Hawai‘i in Hilo in 1997. He is a board member for Maui Behavioral Health Resources.

Jacob Simons was promoted from assistant vice president and primary relationship officer in the Maui Commercial Banking Center to vice president and private banking relationship manager in The Private Bank at the Kahului Branch of Bank of Hawaiʻi.

He provides personalized banking services and financial advice to high net worth clients to help them achieve their goals at all stages of life in the areas of estate planning, investment management and lending. Simons joined the bank in 2012.

Simons received his bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from the University of Washington in 2009. He is the vice president of the Maui Commercial Realtors Roundtable, treasurer of the Tri Isle Resource Conservation and a board member for the Boy Scouts of America – Maui Council.
