Water Conservation Urged.

A water conservation advisory has been extended for West Maui customers as crews continue ongoing construction at the Lahaina Wastewater Treatment Facility.

Officials from the Maui Department of Water Supply and Department Environmental Management issued the notification saying flows are higher than normal at this time but processing is substantially reduced, so water usage should be limited to essential uses only.

This advisory affects all customers, businesses and hotels from Puamana to Kapalua. The conservation advisory remains is in place until Wednesday, April 24, 2019.

Customers with questions may contact Engineer Juan Rivera at the Department of Environmental Management during normal business hours at (808) 270-7268.
