Bite Squad Debuts on Maui: Delivering Food from 45+ Restaurants

Bite Squad, a restaurant food delivery service, debuts in Kahului on Maui this week.  Bite Squad offers customers free, unlimited deliveries for a year when they when they order through the service during its grand opening celebration, June 7-16, 2019.

The special Free Delivery for a Year promotion gives customers a free 12-month subscription to Bite Squad Unlimited: a delivery membership that waives the booking fee on all orders within a four-mile radius. Regular delivery fees start at $2.99.

Founded in Minneapolis, MN, Bite Squad already operates on Oʻahu, with approximately 550 restaurants partnering for delivery in Honolulu, Kailua, Kapolei, Mililani and Salt Lake.

On Maui, the company is starting with service from more than 45 Kahului-area restaurants, becoming the sixth Bite Squad service area in the state.  To meet anticipated demand, the company plans to hire 100 people locally.

Kahului-area restaurants have joined the platform, include: Tin Roof Maui, Jamba Juice, IHOP, Jack in the Box, Maui Tacos, Burger King, CAA Market Place, Tiki Tiki Thai Cuisine, Pizza in Paradise, Maui 8 Wonder, Acevedos Hawaicano Cafe, HiTEA Cafe, Blazin’ Steaks, Poi By The Pound, Thai Spice, Z-Man’s Kitchen, Jini’s Curry – Fiji Indian Food, Badua’s Maui Crepes & Grill, Originz Maui, RM Mini Mart, Sius Chinese Kitchen, Plantation Grindz, Paia Gelato, Hana Picnic Lunch Company, Taco Style, Thai Mee Up, Maui Roasted Bistro, Bistro Manila, HI Thai, Paradise Supermart, Da Shrimp Hale, Bistro Casanova, Ono Teppanyaki, Manapua Creations, Jersey Mike’s, Cupies Maui, Wei Wei Cafe & Noodle House, Fernando’s Mexican Grill, Pastele House Maui and OGO.

The app is available in more than 375 cities nationwide.

To celebrate its Maui debut, Bite Squad will host a launch party at Tin Roof Maui (360 Papa Place, Unit Y, Kahului, HI 96732) on Thursday, June 6, at 11 a.m.  Attendees at the free party can expect food, cold drinks and complimentary items to take home.
